Purpose:

To address areas that concern adolescent and teenage girls using Godly principles.

Vision:

Destiny Girls will offer an environment where girls, 13-18 years old, are free to discuss issues that are pertinent in the adolescent and teenagers.

Destiny Girls will offer Biblical solutions to their everyday problems, declaring the Bible as the ultimate authority and reference guide for life issues.

Destiny Girls will foster sisterhood and friendship that can be stepping stones to developing healthy female relationships throughout life.

Curriculum:

Each subject is taught based on and use Christian principles. We apply each subject to everyday living, contemporary attitudes and lifestyles, and relevate them to adolescent and teenage girls issues.

Each participant will leave with the answer to the following:
                   (1) Who is God?,
                   (2) Who Is Jesus?,
           and (3) Who is the Holy Spirit?

In addition to our strong scripture based focus, we use additional Biblically based materials and curriculums, which speak to girls in “their” vernacular. Girls will work in groups using workbooks and devotionals. These devotionals will speak to issues that concern girls during this crucial period in their life. Topics may include:

                 (a)    Sexual Purity/Abstinence
                 (b)    Appearance/Fashion
                 (c)    Peer Pressure
                 (d)   Self Esteem
                 (e)    Eating Disorders
                 (f)     School
                 (g)        The 6 Pillars of Character/Integrity:
                          i.     Respect
                          ii.    Responsibility
                          iii.   Trustworthiness
                          iv.   Fairness
                          v.    Caring
                          vi.   Citizenship
